Shipping & Pickup Policy

At Carat Philippines, we understand that your fine jewelry purchase is a significant and valuable investment. To ensure your items arrive safely, we offer secure, tracked courier shipping alongside a private pickup option by appointment.

1. Order Processing Timeline

  • In-Stock Items: Orders are processed and prepared for dispatch within 1 to 2 business days after full payment is cleared and verified.

  • Sized or Customized Items: Rings requiring resizing or custom-made pieces require additional production time. We will provide an estimated completion date during your order consultation.

2. Courier Shipping Options

We ship nationwide using trusted, high-security courier partners to ensure your jewelry is protected every step of the way.

  • Metro Manila & Nearby Provinces (Same-Day / Next-Day): * Shipped via premium, on-demand courier services (e.g., GrabExpress, Lalamove).

    • For security, we recommend opting for car/sedan delivery for high-value items.

  • Provincial Deliveries (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao): * Shipped via reliable insured couriers (e.g., LBC Express).

    • Delivery usually takes 3 to 7 business days depending on your location.

  • Shipping Fees & Insurance: * Shipping and high-value transit insurance fees are standardly shoulder by the buyer unless a specific store promotion applies.

    • All provincial packages are fully declared and insured to their exact purchase value to guarantee a risk-free delivery.

3. Personal Pickup (By Appointment Only)

For clients who prefer to collect their fine jewelry in person or arrange their own highly secure transport, we offer a dedicated By-Appointment Pickup service.

  • Scheduling: Pickups must be scheduled at least 24 to 48 hours in advance. We do not accommodate walk-ins to ensure proper security protocols and dedicated staff availability for your appointment.

  • Verification Required: To claim your item, the registered buyer must present a valid government-issued ID and proof of full payment confirmation.

  • Third-Party Pickups: If a representative or your own personal rider is collecting the item on your behalf, you must provide us with an authorization letter, a copy of your valid ID, and the name/details of the courier beforehand.

4. Delivery Inspection and Transfer of Risk

  • Tracking: For all shipped items, a tracking number or live rider link will be sent to you via DM (Facebook, Instagram, or Viber) as soon as the package leaves our care.

  • Unboxing Video Policy: For your complete peace of mind and protection, we strictly require clients to film a continuous, unedited unboxing video from the moment the courier package is sealed until the jewelry piece is opened. This video is required to process any rare claims regarding transit damage or discrepancies.

  • Risk Transfer: Once a package is signed for and marked as successfully delivered by the courier, or once it is handed over during a scheduled pickup, full responsibility and risk of loss or theft transfer entirely to the buyer.
